Joint Statement: Australian Bushfires

Dr Richard Choong, AGPAL Chair and Mr Gary Smith, QIP Chair

On behalf of the AGPAL Group of Companies, we send our thoughts and sympathies to families and communities who have been impacted by the catastrophic bushfires occurring across Australia.

We recognise that many more Australians continue to be at risk and wish them safe keeping throughout the crisis. We acknowledge and thank firefighters, volunteers and staff within emergency and government departments who are working tirelessly around the clock to protect and support local communities in high-risk areas.

The loss of life, property, livelihoods and wildlife is heart-wrenching. The impact on those directly affected is one of immense despair and we know that it will be a tough and long road ahead for many individuals and local businesses who have suffered.

The AGPAL and QIP teams are working one-on-one with our client organisations, surveyors, assessors, and relevant state/territory and federal bodies to offer support to those impacted by the bushfire crisis. We will be implementing our exceptional circumstance policy to assist our clients as much as possible and will continue to do so for as long as required.

If you need assistance or would like to discuss your circumstances in relation to the bushfires, the AGPAL and QIP teams welcome your call. Please reach out to the team by phoning 1300 362 111.

We ask everyone to stay safe and to support each other during this extremely difficult time.
