New insights into IBD care for GPs and Physicians

Registrations now open for all six 2025 workshops 

Crohn’s & Colitis Australia (CCA), the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), and AGPAL have teamed up to create a comprehensive online learning platform and live workshops tailored to General Practitioners and Physicians. This initiative provides accessible, high-quality education on the diagnosis, management, and multidisciplinary care of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Six workshops will be delivered on different dates throughout June to September, with each 90-minute session providing targeted insights into different aspects of IBD care.

1. The GP’s role in early detection of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis (complete)

Each session includes a live Q&A with IBD experts.

Before you attend

To get the most out of each session, we encourage you to complete the relevant self-directed module on the ‘IBD for GPs and Physicians’ platform beforehand.

  • Online self-directed modules – CPD-accredited and flexible for self-paced learning
  • Live and recorded webinars – Attend expert-led sessions live or watch on demand
  • Interactive online workshops – Engage in case-based discussions with real-world relevance
  • Tools and resources – Downloadable guides to support clinical decision-making

Participants can receive at least 4 CPD Points for each workshop and its corresponding module. Both must be completed to claim the full allocation of points.
